Alexander Owen
Alexander is a student at the University of Michigan who grew up internationally and graduated high school in Qatar. He has experience across sales & trading, equity research, debt advisory, and financial analysis, including a 2026 summer internship at Rothschild & Co, where he received a full-time offer to return after graduation. Within MERC, Alexander focuses on strengthening the club’s education, markets programming, and professional development. Outside of MERC, he is passionate about global markets, investing, golf, soccer, skiing, and travel.

Maya Donnelly
Maya is a BBA student at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and is originally from Westchester County, New York. She has experience in private banking and investment analysis and will join J.P. Morgan Private Bank as a 2027 USPB Summer Analyst after previously completing the firm’s USPB Fellowship. Within MERC, Maya previously served as Vice President of Recruitment and now helps lead the club’s strategy, member development, and recruiting efforts. Outside of MERC, she is interested in psychology, writing, and professional development.

Ethan Schwab
Ethan is a BBA student at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business and is originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He has experience across investment banking, private equity, M&A, and restructuring, including a 2026 summer internship at Rothschild & Co, where he received a full-time offer to return as an Investment Banking Analyst after graduation. Ethan previously served as President of MERC and now supports the organization as a Senior Advisor. Outside of MERC, he is a former member of Michigan’s NCAA Division I Men’s Swimming & Diving team and is interested in investing, sports, and business.

Daniel Dancuta
Daniel is a Math student at the University of Michigan and is originally from Rochester, New York. He has experience across equity research and public markets investing, including roles at Jefferies, SummitTX Capital, and Aristides Capital. Within MERC, he serves as a Senior Advisor and supports the club’s research process, education, and member development.

Marion Amirian
Marion is a student at the University of Michigan and is originally from Los Angeles, California. He has experience across restructuring, distressed debt, and private investing, including work with Independent Credit Research and Armenco Holdings, and will join Ducera Partners as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst focused on restructuring. Within MERC, Marion leads the club’s markets programming and helps members connect company-specific research with broader credit and market dynamics. Outside of MERC, he is particularly interested in distressed investing, restructuring, and public markets.

Nishan Inampudi
Nishan is a student at the University of Michigan and is originally from Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He has experience across consulting, private equity, venture capital, and real estate investing, including a 2026 summer role at McKinsey & Company and prior experience with Copley Equity Partners, Garnett Station Partners, Valhalla Ventures, and Bloomfield Capital. Nishan will join Rothschild & Co as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst next summer. Within MERC, he serves as Vice President of Education, where he leads the club’s curriculum and helps develop members’ technical and investment-research skills.

Angela Zhang
Angela is an Applied Mathematics and Economics student at the University of Michigan and is originally from Beijing, China. She has experience across quantitative research, asset management, and business development, including prior work with LianHai Capital. Angela will join Citi as an intern in Macro Research, where she will continue building experience across markets and economic analysis. Within MERC, she serves as Vice President of External, helping lead the club’s relationships with firms, alumni, and the broader Michigan finance community.
